IS THIS HOME SAFE FOR BABIES AND CHILDREN?
We provide a portacot and high chair for your use, but we do not provide linen for these. Please note there is a set of stairs inside the house and all care should be taken to prevent children injuring themselves on these.
SKI DRYING ROOM?
Enter our newly renovated ski/gear drying room through the rear genkan, remove and hang your gear, and then enter the warmth of the house through the internal access door. Kerosene heated and vented, your gear will dry in no time.
ARE THERE ANY CLEANING FEES OR ADDITIONAL CHARGES?
All bookings will incur a $500 linen and cleaning fee for up to 10 persons. Daily snow clearing around the house is complimentary.
ARE THERE FACILITIES FOR WASHING AND DRYING?
Makkari Sunhouse offers a washing machine and dryer for your use during your stay.
DO I NEED A CAR?
Yes. Makkari Sunhouse is a short drive to most places, including the ski resorts. Unless you have a shuttle service arranged, a car will be essential.
We now offer the use of a 7 seat vehicle, snow ready with roof racks. Ask us about how when you contact us.
We do not provide transport to the house.
We also offer remote control garaging for 2 cars with plenty of parking for any additional cars.
Drive times: two minutes to Central Makkari, 20 minutes to Niseko/Kutchan, 15 minutes Rusutsu, 60 minutes Kiroro, 25 minutes Toyako.
