Hello

Our holiday home adventure started in Wanaka, New Zealand in 2005 with the purchase of a small "Bach" with distant views of the mountains and a glimpse of the Lake.  Today, we have grown into the fabulous Peninsula Bay Luxury Retreat with spectacular views of Lake Wanaka and the mountains of Aspiring National Park, with a now regular group of annually returning guests.  We still have PBLR, but this is our next great adventure in Hokkaido.

We purchased the house without actually seeing it (thanks Pandemic) other than a cursory drive past in 2019 and some real estate photos, but the house has turned out even better than we expected.  Two renovations later we think the house is close to perfect, but the work does not end there, as plans keep hatching to make the experience of Makkari Sunhouse better and better.

 

Our plan is to develop a similar regular following in Japan as we have in Wanaka.
